Chef/ Establishment Participation Agreement 2007

Deadline for Entry – August 6, 2007

Chef/Establishment to Provide:

  • Create an Original Desert using any (PURITY ICE CREAM) only; prepare 4 portions for photo and judging. Provide a printed recipe of your dessert to the Chairperson.
  • Prepare and donate 500 “sample size portions” of your dessert. General Public to vote on your dessert and display.
  • Attend the Event on Sunday and provide sufficient professional assistance as needed to prepare and serve your dessert and to clean up at the end of the event.
  • Provide a creative display on one 6 foot banquet table that represents you establishment and will add to the tasteful ambiance of the event – Banners are fine, however no tape can be used on the Wildhorse furniture or fixtures.
  • Provide any equipment or serving pieces you need to accomplish the serving of your dessert. (Purity Dairy will donate the flavored Ice Cream of your choice, and will provide portion cups, plastic spoons, and napkins at the event..

Event Sponsors Provide:

  • Ice Cream and disposable serving material for public sampling. ( ½ gallon Ice Cream prior to event for experimental purposes and a 3 gallon container for the event provided by Purity)
  • Impartial Professional Judging of all entries with the awarding of 3 prizes:
    • 1 st Place being $300.00 cash for the Winning Chef
    • 2 nd Place is $100.00 cash plus prizes worth a total of $200.00 (gift certificates)
    • 3 rd Place $100.00
  • Additional Prizes judged by the Public earn trophies:
    • Best Table Display
    • Best of Show
  • Public relations to promote event in the form of print ads, flyers, radio time on and television time, and other media outlets.
  • Great venue with 6 foot table, tablecloth, and onsite freezer space. We provide a tabletop sign for each participant to display. Bring your banner.
LOAD-IN and set-up must be complete by 12:30pm. Judging will occur between 12:30PM and 2:30PM. Please try to be as self-sufficient as possible . this event is a browse and graze type of function.
