Please send this out to as many chefs as you know, dig deep into the chef community, this is a great opportunity to get local (non acf affiliated chefs) to partner with us. Please copy and paste the below email body and include a personal message to your chef friends.

I am writing this email in hopes of gathering your passion, support, and time in helping change the landscape of childhood nutrition in Nashville. Like many of you, I have worked in hotels, restaurants, clubs, etc. and in the past have not put too much thought into a chef’s responsibility about teaching the next generation about REAL FOOD! You can’t turn on the television, computer, or open a newspaper and not hear loud and clear the need for chefs to start to lead the charge, to not only change kids attitude about food, but also erase the many mixed messages they have been taught. There are so many great causes to get involved with here in Nashville, but I am asking you to join me in putting 100 Chefs in 100 Nashville Schools.

All we need is your time and expertise!

What I need from you:

  • Agree to participate one day during Oct 24 – 26th in a classroom speaking to kids about REAL FOOD and good choices (demos to last 30 minutes max)
  • Respond to this email and let me know you are interested and provide your contact information to: kevindorr@iammorrison.com
  • Forward this to other chefs that you know maybe interested

What you can expect from me:

  • The talking points, food, and supporting documents  
  • A chef to chef webinar filling in all of the details of this exciting event
  • An opportunity to make an impact on our next generation
  • An event with local chefs, local schools, and local collaboration
